Roy and Wendy had their combined 40th Birthday party at the weekend. It was 70s/80s fancy dress. Michael didn't need much persuading and kitted himself out in the best of polyester garments from yesteryear. It was going to be a Miami Vice white suit and T-shirt until he saw the psychedelic options. Yeah baby!
It was all good fun.
Note Michael's gay neck tie has become a headband after some ribbing from the boys!
Andy looks great in his dashing blue specs. What you can't see is his crushed velvet, royal blue flares. Sweet!

Faulkner Park, Belmont
We have tried to visit a few parks recently and cross them off our to-do list before heading home. Faulkner Park is relatively small compared to some of the other parks but it has a few themes going on. A volcano takes pride of place in the middle of the park with a pirate ship, water spurts, toddlers area, bouncy mushrooms, etc. The volcano wasn't working when we visited but when it is the top lights up and smoke spews out every few minutes.

Cupcakes
It had rained heavily for a day and a half with frequent thunder and lightning. Saturday came along and rather than staying inside Delia decided she'd take a drive to Kalamunda (40 minutes from the house) just to visit a shop called Little Miss Cupcake. Very pink and full of.....cupcakes. Chloe was working so another visit will be required!
